El Taller de Inglés of Buenos Aires announces the staging of "The Return of Hamlet" on Friday, November 14th at 7pm. The solo performance acted and directed by Alfred Hopkins will be an adapted and shortened version based on the most important speeches of the Danish prince but with a narrator and representation of key scenes in William Shakespeare's play about a prince who seeks revenge for the murder of his father.
At the time the English bard wrote the play revenge taking was frequently practiced and even considered to be an obligation and the judicial system was quite limited in its power to resolve situations such as that explored in Hamlet.
